Healing go-to Salad Dressing

Never mind store bought dressings with all their refined oils, trans fats and loads of sugars. Take 10 minutes out of your day to create a favourite homemade salad dressing of your own. This way you can use clean oils and ingredients and store the dressing for a couple weeks to have on hand in your fridge.

Here is a list of healing and healthy ingredients you can use to help create one of your own dressings:

–  Cold pressed virgin Avocado oil

–  Cold pressed, virgin olive oil

– Virgin Coconut oil

– Cold pressed virgin Walnut oil

– Cold pressed virgin Pumpkin seed oil

– Apple cider vinegar

– Lemon

– Limes

– Mustard

– Garlic

– Ginger

– Poppy seeds

– Cultured organic yogurt

– Fresh Herbs

– Raw Honey

– Maple Syrup

Ingredients
  1. 4 tbs apple cider vinegar
  2. 2 tbs organic lemon juice
  3. 1/4 cup unrefined, cold pressed, virgin pumpkin seed oil
  4. 1/3 cup unrefined, cold pressed, virgin olive oil
  5. 3 tbs grainy organic dijon mustard
  6. 2 crushed organic garlic cloves, or 1 large
  7. 4-5 slices organic ginger
  8. 1 tbs grade b (2) or c (3) maple syrup OR you can use raw honey
  9. 1 tsp herbamare (this is a unrefined sea salt accompanied with aromatic herbs)
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a jar and shake to combine.
  2. You can some of this dressing right away, or store in the fridge for later use.
Notes
  1. This dressing lasts a couple weeks in the fridge (the most 3)
