Why Organic?

1. Organic food contains more nutrients in every bite. You will ingest more vitamins and minerals with every meal. This in turn will help you build your immune systems and help fight off colds, flu’s and any other types of infection. These healthier choices contain more beneficial fats, vitamins and oils. For kids this helps build their brains, improving attention span, focus, memory and grades.

2. Clean chemical free farming protects the world you and your children live in. Chemical free farmed land stores a mass amount of carbon. This means the soils fertility increases as much as 120% compared to a mere 30% on chemically loaded soil with no living organisms1. These healthy fields, with significantly more living organisms and carbon, are helping to stop global climate change. There are twice as many insects, wild birds and butterflies around organic fields2 . Every time we eat organic, we are helping restore wildlife.

3. Organic food is clean. These crops do not contribute to polluting our ground water and fresh drinking water. The documentation of diseases such as Hodgkin’s lymphoma, lymphomas, myeloma and cancers such as stomach, breast, testicular and prostate are all linked to the ingesting of and exposure to the chemicals used to produce conventional crops3. Organic farming reduces all risks associated with these GM (genetically modified) crops.
