Spicy Fermented Heirloom Carrot Sticks

If there is one recipe you should try first about learning and tasting what homemade fermented food is all about, this spicy carrot recipe is the one. It is super easy, and once you do your first jar you’ll wonder why you didn’t start sooner. You can use regular organic carrots, I just couldn’t resist these beautiful heirloom carrots. I added a pinch of cayenne and a pinch of red chili flakes to give them a zing, and who wouldn’t want to boost their metabolism throughout the day? These carrot sticks supply a great dose of probiotics, enzymes, digestion relief and so much more fabulous healing qualities. I will have an article up soon about the benefits of fermenting foods; and yep, beauty and a clear, radiant skin is one of them! 😉

Enjoy,

ღTina
